Delivery and Installation Guide

Payment

  • Visa, MasterCard, & Discover accepted
  • 20% down payment required
  • Balance Due upon delivery
  • Customer is responsible for site preparation
  • Site must be accessible at the time of delivery
  • Customer is responsible for permits and building codes

Time
There will be no deliveries scheduled to leave our lot no later than 2:00PM. Saturday deliveries are limited.

Delivery Charges

FREE delivery up to a 12x24 within 25 miles of any Shelly’s lots. Flat rate delivery charges within 25 miles from Shelly’s. Additional mileage will be charged at a rate of $3.50 per loaded mile. Additional set up time will be charged at the rate of $35.00 per hour. Any part of the hour. This amount will be billed separately from contract price. Payable upon completion of delivery.

  • ** Over 24 feet long call for Quote **
  • Delivery should not take more than 30 minutes. There is a charge for blocks, if needed.
  • Turning of the building: extra man $35.00 - $50.00.
  • Land slopes may take extra block and labor: $35.00 - $50.00
  • Land slopes more than 8”, may take four blocks 24” or more on rear corners. Customer is responsible for preparation and liability after delivery. Customer is responsible for having concrete piers, if required, installed before delivery. Blocks and labor extra.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no deliveries scheduled to leave our lot after 2:00pm. Saturday deliveries are limited.

  • For a level site:
    4x4 runners should sit on the ground. The rear can be blocked safely 8”. Gravel 3” deep or more works great, only if runners rest level on gravel with no blocks.
  • Shelly’s is not responsible for any damage to landscaping, flowers, shrubs, trees, or overhead wires, etc…
  • Customer will be responsible for Shelly’s company truck for any damages sustained from uncut, overhanging trees and bushes.
  • Customers are responsible for all permits.
  • PLEASE!!!!! NO UNATTENDED CHILDREN OR PETS AT BUILDING SITE

Leveling
If your building becomes unleveled, it is most likely the fault of settling, improper foundation, soft ground, etc… and NOT the building, but there is a simple remedy:

  • Standing in front of your doors, look to see which door is lower than the other.
  • If it is the right door, you have to lift or jack the right front corner, or left rear corner, which ever one is off level. This will bring the doors level to each other.
  • If the left door is the low one, lift or jack the left front corner or the rear right corner.

There will be a charge for us to do this service.
